HMHK was founded and is run by Demelza Foreman MSc(MHSW), MPhil(Psychol), Dip SW, Dip HE, SEN
Demelza has spent the past thirty years developing her knowledge and skills in health and academic settings.
As a trained general nurse and social worker, she went on to develop her career further studying child, adolescent
and adult mental health in the Department of Psychiatry at Manchester University and Department of Psychology at Southampton University. Demelza has practised in adult,
child and adolescent mental health NHS settings and Looked After Children services holding Clinical Lead and Consultant
roles. She has extensive experience of assessment and treatment of child and adolescent behavioural
and emotional disorders, developing and delivering parent management courses, supervising and
training multi disciplinary staff in the UK and abroad. Demelza has published her work in prestigious medical
journals and presented to the Royal College of Psychiatry.
